At one end of the hamlet you find the gîte (our holiday house), with a private garden. Les Granges is situated a short way up the west slope of the valley, 500m from the village, with a view across the fields and the mountains.
The house, fits 7 people, contains a living/dining room with a woodstove, a big kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, big bathroom with shower, bath, sink and toilet. If cycling or walking is your preferred recreation this is the right place; walking tracks abound, from a half hour stroll around the village to a full day slog up one of a number of surrounding peaks.
The Drôme is a beautiful district. Close to the Provence at the south and the Alpes at the north of it, makes this area very interesting. High mountains, big gorges, lots of lavender, sunflower, wine fields and the charming villages with local markets make you want to stay here forever.
