Positive: Great history for the location. In a quiet rural location

Negative: To be told that the restaurant was closed as there was a big wedding booking was very frustrating after a long and tiring journey - particularly on a public holiday when everything is closed!! It's very poor that the hotel did not tell us earlier. We had to get fruit and snacks from a local supermarket. Considering the room is set up for self-catering, there was no cutlery, crockery or glassware The shower was very low and had to be held Overall very disappointed
