For over 40 years I have been restoring an old farm in the Monts du Lyonnais, which houses the cottage, to restore its former glory using noble and old materials: oak, stone, lime, terracotta tiles, etc. Local granite stone is omnipresent. I cut it, I bush hammer it, I build (dry) stone walls, where you can hardly see the cement, I have redone a porch, fireplaces, stone jambs, etc. I am always happy to answer questions from tenants who are interested in the past and inexhaustible for those looking for a cottage with a real history and soul.
