Provençal villa with swimming pool in the South of France
Located on the edge of Saumane, a pretty little village in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, the house overlooks a colorful valley. Between the blue sky, the green countryside and the calm you could believe you were in a painting. The color and light are magnificent in the region, we discover rare nuances that are even surprising: the red-colored stones from which ochres are extracted like in Provençal Colorado, the purple fields streaked with lavender or painted mauve pastel by sage, all these nuances which contrast under the bright blue of the sky.
The tastefully decorated house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. A rare thing in the area, there are no stairs, it is entirely on one level and the 1700m2 garden is fenced. The main room of 60m2 with a closed fireplace is divided into three spaces: a large open and fully equipped kitchen, a large table where we all meet for meals, and finally a comfortable living room facing the bay window which opens onto opens onto the covered terrace. It is a family home, pleasant with young children who can be left to play safely in the garden, or to get together for the holidays when they have left the nest.
