You can visit local villages, each with their quaint weekly market (do not miss the farmer's market in Lourmarin on Friday morning!) You will have everything you need to spend an unforgettable week in Provence. The surrounding villages are wonderful including cafes and restaurants brimming over the cobbled streets, Lourmarin is the place for you.
Cadenet is well situated for visiting Provence. It is in the heart of the Luberon, with Aix-en-Provence about 30 minutes south and Avignon 45 minutes west. Some beautiful neighboring villages along the southern edge of the Luberon are Vaugines, Ansouis, Cucuron, Cabrières d'Acute and La Motte-d'Aigues. Also very close, on the northern edge of the Luberon, are Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes and Oppède. The city of Apt is only 20 minutes away. The road north to Bonnieux passes through the beautiful valley, narrow river called "Combe de Lourmarin. The Luberon offers an abundance of natural wonders .....
