Summary: Michel is a wonderful host. He's very hospitable and he makes you feel just right at home. He's very accommodating to your needs.His rooms are comfortable and big enough for couples, and his living room is large enough to spend the evening there, for a family, however chances are you would go to Provence to spend time mostly outside. Actually, his kitchen area is outside, where you can cook, grill, and barbecue at leisure. The large dining table is under a beautiful pergola with vines covering all of it, so, feel free to grab grapes and eat them, they're delicious, like the figues Michel also grows on several figue trees, scattered all around his 3000 sq m property: there is a pond there, a very large courtyard/open area where you can walk freely, grab figues from the trees, sunbathe on chairs or a hammock, play with the dogs, and catch a sight of a horse that is very friendly. The property is surrounded by vineyards, just minutes away and other farmland, while being very close (10-15 min by car) to Avignon, bu also easily reachable by bus. The whole place is and feels rustic. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the right place, but if you're looking for comfortable and authentic living, at a true local, then you've found the right place for you.You get the idea, staying at Michel feels like being in the countryside, on a ranch, in the middle of vast vineyards and beautiful Provence villages (Rochefort du Gard, Tavel, which is an appellation for the best rose in France - do some wine tasting!), while being so close to the city and beautiful Provence attractions. Camargue is less than an hour drive a must to see an experience.Highly recommending Michel and his place, I can't wait to go back and stay there.
