Summary: A little off the beaten path, the quiet Le Madaleno was exactly what we needed for our first stay in the south of France. The hosts were friendly and extremely welcoming people - even putting up with my abysmal attempts at speaking French. The pool was clean and inviting - much appreciated in the midst of a heat wave. The breakfast food and pizza dinner were delicious and beautifully presented.

Summary: This family run hotel is very well situated for visiting the Arles and Avignon areas. Our superior room overlooking the pool had an extremely comfortable king size bed, air conditioning, small TV and a balcony with table and chairs. The evening meals were delicious with a choice of three seasonal locally sourced starters and main courses and breakfast was substantial. We would recommend that if you want a genuine 'taste of Provence' stay at Hotel la Ripaille.
