The Colline de Grans offers a great mountain bike trail with partly wide and couped sections. The tour takes about 45 minutes, and along the way you will discover so-called bories, igloo-shaped stone huts from the nineteenth century. You will also pass by the Mur des Abeilles or the Wall of the Bees. In the crevices of this eighteenth-century dry stone wall, 60 meters long, there are more than fifty hives of bees, which here enjoy adequate protection from bad weather. If you wish, you can also walk the route. 9 km from your cottage, Miramas offers five beautiful hiking trails with unique views of the pristine coastline and the Étang de Berre. Take your family to the cozy zoo of La Barben (15 km), home to more than 650 animals from around the world. After that, you can have a look around Salon-de-Provence. This great city is known for its soap manufactories, the birthplace of Nostradamus and the legendary French aerobatic team Patrouille de France.
