The apartment, built in a traditional style, is surrounded by greenery and extensive gardens. The open plan living area has two sofas, flatscreen TV, a dining table and the kitchen, which is separated by a pretty tiled divider. The quieter town of Pittulongu (6 minutes) has a lovely, family-friendly beach, as well as relaxed trattorias and cafés.
The larger port of Olbia (15 minutes) makes a great day trip. Here you can explore vibrant farmers\' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended.
The island of Tavolara is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant, run by the island’s current king.
Olbia airport, is just a 20-minute drive.
