This beautiful 19th Century country house has breathtaking mountain views, its own swimming pool and tennis court and is set in two hectares of gardens and 100 hectares of private woodland ensuring peace and privacy.
The interior is furnished to a high standard and can easily accommodate 12 to 14 people in its five bedrooms. The kitchen and kitchen terrace, dining room, lounge, games room and TV room are all located on the main floor along with a bedroom with en-suite shower room and a separate bathroom, a perfect option for disabled access if required.
The largest bedroom on the first floor has a walk-out terrace overlooking the mountains, ideal for a morning coffee or evening aperitif. Another bedroom and family sized bathroom are also located on the first floor. There are two other en-suite bedrooms with doors opening out onto the large terrace at the front and side of the property.
Outside are three lawn terraces, ideal for games. The 13m x 6m swimming pool has an approved safety fence, a pool room with shower and bar, and a patio area, the perfect place for an evening barbecue (BBQ provided). The pool is visible from the kitchen and the covered terrace. There is a volleyball area and a hard tennis court
It is a 3 minute drive to the small charming village of Fox Amphoux. It contains a bakery, which is also a pleasant 20 minute walk across the fields, as well as a local cafe/restaurant. There are a host of pretty towns (Cotignac, Aups, Barjols, Salernes) each 15 minutes drive away. The house is located in the Gorge de Verdon national park area and is famous for its clear air, walking, cycling and sightseeing. Four good golf courses are within an hours drive away. For longer day excursions, Aix-en-Provence (75 mins) & St Tropez (90 mins) are nearby.
