It enjoys a calm and peaceful location surrounded by stunning Luberon countryside and is set in 2 acres of green oak which offers privacy and natural shade. It is a 5 minute drive and pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of Bonnieux which has a weekly market, bars, cafes and an excellent choice of restaurants. There is a general store, two bakers, a butcher, a chemist, a number of dress and antiques shops, and several art galleries. The house is on a plateau, Les Claparedes, at a height of around 500m. The countryside around Bonnieux is made up of vineyards and fruit orchards. It is an ideal area for walking, cycling and wine-tasting and you will find colourful and bustling Provencal markets to visit every day of the week. The house is light and spacious and recently built, enjoying high quality insulation which ensures it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The downstairs living area is spacious with a beamed ceiling, limestone flagged floor and a traditional Provencal fireplace. There is a dining area and well equipped kitchen with adjoining pantry.
