Sara Home 2 is located right in the very centre of Sorrento, just a few metres from the Porta di Parsano, the only surviving trace of the ancient walls that once surrounded and defended the city. On passing through this “Porta” (gate), you’ll find yourself on the main street Corso Italia, a few metres from Piazza Tasso in the heart of Sorrento, with its characteristic alleyways, bars, restaurants and shops.
The apartment is a few hundred metres from the train station, bus station and taxi rank. From here, it’s possible to use either of these services to visit various nearby destinations: Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Pompeii and Naples. Just 700 metres away is Marina Grande, a typical fishing village, famous for its restaurants, Beachfront and also for being the filming location of some of Sophia Loren’s most famous films. Also 700 metres away is the Marina Piccola port. From here, it’s possible to take the hydrofoil to the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. You can also rent boats of all sizes, with or without a boatman, so you can enjoy the coastal waters at your leisure.
