Summary: This is a 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Spello, recently renovated & full of character with original stone walls. It has a comfortable double bedroom, open plan dining / kitchen / living space with sofa bed and a modern bathroom. It enjoys easy access to an excellent choice of restaurants. The Space: The apartment is a lovely, tastefully decorated apartment, perfect for a couple or for a small family. Set around the focal point of a Roman arch, the interior measures approximately 55 square metres. Guests enter the apartment via a beautiful arched doorway. Steps lead down from here to a bedroom area, equipped with comfortable king size bed. A TV is positioned on an opposite table, perfect for lazy lie-ins in the morning! Additional steps lead down from the bedroom to a kitchen, living and dining area. There is a table seating 4 guests, whilst the kitchen is equipped with fridge, oven and washing machine. A door leads off this area to the bathroom which has a shower, sink and toilet. Please note that there is also a sofa bed so that the property can sleep up to 4 people in total. Guest Access: Guests have sole use of the entire apartment during their stay. The Neighborhood: The property is located in the heart of Spello which is a truly amazing town in Umbria. The people of Spello are incredibly welcoming and provide a warm and generous welcome to all its visitors. There are over a dozen excellent restaurants in the town, all serving superb quality food. All guests also receive a free tasting courtesy of the wonderful hosts at Enotica Properzio, which is surely one of the best wine bars in Italy with over 2000 wines on offer from both Italy and further afield. Whilst a car is not necessary during your stay, for those with a car, the stay includes free parking for one vehicle behind the church of Sant' Andrea, within a short walk of the apartment itself. Getting Around: The town also has a train station allowing guests to explore further afield without the need to hire a car during their stay. Other Things to Note: Spello is probably our favourite place in Italy and this is a great little bolthole right in the heart of the town. Don't underestimate how much fun the complimentary wine tasting will be. Robert at Enoteca Properzio is a larger than life character. What he doesn't know about wine isn't worth knowing! Interaction with Guests: There is a local point of contact if guests should need anything during their stay, otherwise, we leave our guests to enjoy their stay in peace.
