A covered space with a view on the olive trees, awaits you to relax in peace while enjoying the warm evenings of the south of France, and to take your meals after having glazed tasty products of the soil in one of the Provençal markets surroundings with Provençal specialities. Sablet is a pleasant and picturesque wine-producing village surrounded by ramparts, languidly lying at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, extraordinary limestone spires set against the azure sky and renowned for being a popular hiking and climbing site, and west of the Giant of Provence, the famous Mont Ventoux. Its pretty shaded and flowery streets wind around its church dating from the 12th century. Surrounded by the slopes of the Côtes du Rhône, just like the villages of the Wine Route, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Séguret, Beaumes-de-Venise or Cairanne, Sablet is renowned for the quality of its wines. In July, the village celebrates the book and welcomes many writers. You can practice tennis, fishing, hiking or biking, and the most experienced may try to climb the Ventoux. Don't miss the visit of Vaison-la-Romaine, which is one of the must-see sites of the Vaucluse with its archeological excavations that have revealed luxurious Gallo-Roman mansions, decorated with mosaics, statues and basins.
